BGC Insurance Group (BGCI), a division of BGC Partners Inc. (NASDAQ: BGCP), a leading global brokerage and financial technology company, today announced that Mark Costin will join its new global aviation and space (re)insurance broker as Senior Partner.
Costin joins Philip Smaje and Marcel Chad as the latest high-profile figure in the new team and, subject to regulatory approval, will start in his role on completion of notice period obligations.
Costin joins BGCI from Marsh JLT Speciality where he most recently held the role of CEO of its Aviation and Aerospace Division. He joined Marsh from Willis Towers Watson in 2002.
